A great success: Around 300 enthusiastic guests celebrated on June 1st the official opening of the new padel facility at Paul-Ehrlich-Weg 6 in Munich-Allach.

The opening day couldn't have been more perfect: Right at noon, the sky opened up, the sun showed itself – and remained a faithful companion throughout the afternoon of this unforgettable event.

There was already a lively atmosphere on all courts early on. Especially the youngest visitors eagerly stormed the spots. Our supervisors had their hands full to give every child their first hits – with cones, rings, and ball games, the little ones were introduced to the sport, while the older ones already completed their first shots over the net. Beaming faces everywhere! Meanwhile, the scent of the grill wafted through the air, and the crêpe station was operating at full throttle.

An emotional moment followed when Ralf Exel took the microphone and, together with Tomas & Nicole, reflected on the past months. A long and intense journey lay behind them – it was exactly this that made the moment of celebration so special.

At 3 PM, Josef Schmid and Clemens Baumgärtner opened the official part with their welcoming words and a traditional tapping of a 50-liter barrel. The glasses were as well filled as the courts, because everyone wanted to try the game with the paddles, get cheered on by friends and coaches, and experience this special sport.

A special highlight was set by Samuel Weller, four-time German vice-champion in football freestyle and official UEFA freestyler 2022 and 2024. With a spectacular performance, he opened the courts – his breathtaking display caused awe and loud applause before the sports program moved on to the next round.

The sporting part was finally topped off by a high-profile show match that drew the audience close to the glass walls of the padel courts: Tomas Nydahl did not miss the chance to impressively demonstrate the fascination of padel alongside Florian Mayer, former number 18 of the ATP tour.

New playing communities were formed, there was laughter, trying, learning – and celebrating together. It is exactly this lively, open community that makes padel the fastest-growing sport worldwide.

And this community now has a home in Allach as well. Welcome to PADEL SEASONS – welcome to the new meeting point for sport, fun, and togetherness.
